As ALSC blogger Joannie Lauria noted earlier this year, the “science of reading” (or SoR) can be overwhelming. Thankfully, Lauria and other ALSC bloggers have penned posts on the science of reading specifically for those serving children in libraries. For example, Anna Melvin provided an overview of the science of reading. And Aryssa Damron, co-chair of the Children and Libraries (CAL) Editorial Advisory Committee, suggested three CAL articles that help you bring the science of reading into your library.
