Stargazers can celebrate the new year by looking up at one of the briefest meteor showers of the year.On the first five days of 2025, the Quadrantid meteor shower will streak across the sky with a peak of 40 shooting stars per hour. But January’s headliner is Mars, which will be at its biggest and brightest for the year. Astronomy buffs can also see star clusters throughout the month.
