The Library of Congress is pleased to announce an Educator Open House on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 4:30-7:30 p.m. in the Whittall Pavilion, located on the ground floor of the Library’s Thomas Jefferson Building.
Experience a wide range of amazing resources available for educators and learners onsite and online. This special evening will include a chance to explore The Source—the Library’s new experiential gallery for young people—as well as meet with subject matter experts, discover classroom material, and see Library treasures up close. Attendees will also be able to view exhibitions and join the public Live! at the Library event until 8:00pm.

The event is presented jointly by the Library’s Professional Learning and Outreach Initiatives Office and Informal Learning Office.
This event is free with a reserved ticket. A limited supply of tickets is available here.
