The Public Library Association (PLA) and Gale Cengage, invite library professionals nationwide to participate in the 2025 Adult Education Programming Survey. This brief but impactful survey will help us better understand the scope, outcomes, and evolving needs of adult education services in public libraries—and we need your voice!
From digital literacy and workforce development to ESL classes and lifelong learning, libraries are essential providers of adult education in communities of all sizes. This survey gathers insights about what’s working, where gaps exist, and what resources could help libraries grow and strengthen this important programming. Your responses will help PLA and Gale Cengage identify trends, challenges, and opportunities to inform future tools, resources, and support for library professionals.
The survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. As a thank you, participants will have the option to enter a raffle to win one of five $50 gift cards. All responses are confidential.
